Free Dental Checks
A free dental check is available year round and cost estimates can be provided where dental work is recommended. Comprehensive dental procedures are performed within the hospital including dental digital x-rays.
Surgery
Engadine Vets performs a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery including desexings, lump removals, dentistry, amputations, fracture repairs, major abdominal surgery and cruciate repairs.
Cat boarding
Leave your cat in expert hands next time you need to go away. We have air-conditioned and comfortable accommodation for cats and a range of room sizes to suit your kitty’s preference. Pets in boarding are supervised by qualified and attentive veterinary nurses, so you can rest assured that they’re getting quality care. Puppy Preschool
Our puppy preschool is run by Bec from Dog Manners Sydney. Bec is a Cert IV qualified Veterinary Nurse with extensive further studies on dog behavioural training. We are passionate about helping owners build a harmonious relationship with their newest family addition. Our classes are run in a relaxed and controlled environment. Learn more
Housecalls
Engadine Vet Hospital offers housecalls to local clients and their pets when possible. Our housecall service must be booked in advance and is subject to availability. Please contact us on 9548 3345 if you would like to arrange a home visit.
NAIL CLIPS, ANAL GLANDS & WING CLIPS
These services are all available anytime within our opening hours. Some services may be available as a nurse consult. Bookings are essential.
Grooming
Haircuts are available for those patients that require sedation whilst receiving a clip. Our vets administer an appropriate sedative and our trained nurses complete a basic groom as per the owner’s instructions.
Prescription Food
We can help you order prescription food. Please give us a call to submit your request.
Afterhours
Critical patients may sometimes require referral to a 24-hour hospital for overnight monitoring. For all after-hours emergencies, please refer to After Hours Emergencies on our Contact Us page.
Consultations
Engadine Vets are available for consultations 6 days a week. Appointments are preferred although walk-in consultations will be seen as soon as possible depending on urgency. Consultations are available 8am to 7pm weekdays, 8:30am to 1pm Saturdays and Closed on Sundays.
Vaccinations
We offer vaccinations and annual check ups for dogs, cats and exotic pets. A vaccination consultation will include a full physical examination, dental check, weight check and discussion regarding any issues the pet may have.
